I hope so, but I am afraid it will probably be the same thing. We have new construction going up a road over and there have been Mexicans working there. I am going to look into that further. I was thinking humm... between 12:30p and 1p... sounds like knock off time for construction workers on a Friday... and they would have seen my fiance leave that morning. And would have been able to see how our schedule works in our household. But, on any normal day... my mother stays home with our son while I go to work and my fiance goes to school then to work. So there is USUALLY someone always at my house. Will keep an eye out down here in Houston. Not sure what Mexican's working a street over have to do wth it since anyone could have driven through your nighborhood and seen it. Then said "I want that and stole it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any news on locating it. I had a Ranger stolen in Crandall in 2002 and we haven't heard hide nor hair of it. Good Luck.

We have new construction going up a road over and there have been Mexicans working there. So you went and checked to confirm they were all Mexican nationality vs being from somewhere like El Salvador or Panama or Guatemala or Americans born here in US? Also, you think its possible a "non mexican" on that crew could have taken your boat?

I'd bet money 2 young punk connarses that stole from a buddy of mine 5-6 times in the last 6 months in Duson know what happened to your boat. The cops even know where they live!!! Who they are & their daddy!!! Good luck finding your boat........................ Why would you have to make that comment about some dark skinned guys workin on a road crew though?? I'm Mexican & I dayum sure aint a thief..... ......... Oh yeah if you want more info on the punks shoot me a PM. I will try to call you tomorrow between 5:00-6:00 p.m.

It's a darn shame to hear about your boat being taken, I truely hope you recover it in tact that being said your 'mexican' comment was uncalled for, since no one saw it taken you just don't know do you? could have been just about anyone neighbor, relative, ex-boyfriend, someone doing cleanup on the coast not wanting to mess up their boat. Thieves are thieves, they come from all races and walks of life. I worked at a charity's store in San Antonio,Tx and caught many shoplifters, they were hispanics, blacks and would you believe whites too? race doesn't matter, people who steal will steal! next time consider securing your property better, even if it's deep in your land, chains, locks and removing a wheel if you have to. For all you know it was repossessed.

I apologize to everyone for my previous statement naming the people on the working crew as "Mexicans". I am unaware of where they are originally from so therefore I should not have labeled them into any ethnic group. I did not mean it in any negative way. I was upset, angry, hurt, you name it I was feeling it. My mind was going in so many different directions and I started from my house and covered surrounding areas/people that could have stolen it from my house. That crew had been working on those houses for a couple of weeks and the closest to my home that were not from this neighborhood. So I looked at it as a possibility. I am truly sorry if I have offended anyone. It was not my intention.

Keep a close watch on Craigslist and E-Bay, it is common for them to take something and sell it on those two sites. Good Luck....

B-Man, At least for myself, I understand, no one likes to lose their property regardless of what it is. The justice system needs to be harder on criminals as in other countries (chop something off if need be) the problem with that is that the prosecution isn't always right. But we do gotta stop slapping these fools on the wrists and put an end to their ways. As I stated before, I do hope your property is recovered. Rubes

I talked to Brett on the phone this past weekend. Sounds like a good enough fella that was just in the heat of the moment, and lost a very expensive investment and toy. Hope ya find your boat bro and I will put you in touch with my buddy as soon as he gets off the rig. Hope you got the voice mail I left on your phone.

Brett how about specifics on the Electronis, Trolling motor, Year of boat and motor???? ANything that will make locating stuff for you a little easier? I done searched all over Texas & Louisiana Craigslist the only thing I found was a listing in Texas that had been removed or locked. Found a boat very similar looking to yours on Texas Craigslist but the Interior was not the same color and I believe it had a Merc or Yamaha on it??

Thanks Rob... I did get your voicemail. I am so anxious about getting that info to look into it! I really appreciate you calling me.
I have the electronics (other than the brackets and other parts of it that run inside of the boat). The boat and motor are 98's (but do not look like it) the boat was taken care of VERY well. The motor is a silver 225 Mariner with a Brocato intake. The boat is dual console. The seats have some repair spots. The center seat between the driver and passenger is at my house so it will not be a full bench type seat. The butt seat is with the boat, but I do have my rear seat at home. The interior is lighter grey. The boat cover is custom made for the boat (darkish grey with black straps, made with a heavier material). The trailer is a maroon tandem axle Trition Softride trailer. The right fender has some paint discoloration from welding repairs I had to do on a crack, but you can see the repair and difference in color if you look at it).
Thanks for the help... I am hoping I can find it...

You might want to post the serial number here. When Google indexes this page it will go out on the web for all to see. If a normal guy is looking to buy the motor he might run a search on the web and it show up. A title can easily be faked then the motor registered in another state.
