Please keep your eyes open for my 21 foot Triton Bass Boat that was stolen from my house today (7/9/10). It was some time between 10 am and 3 pm. It is maroon, white, and silver. It is on a Triton Softride trailer which is also maroon. It has a 225 Mariner (silver). It is possible the thief put the boat cover on it. The boat cover is grey. If anyone has any information on this please respond to this post or call me at (337) 257-7970.

Thanks,
Brett

We are also thinking that it is a full size truck (possibly a dually)... it looks as if the motor was skipping as they left our driveway. They would have had to hook it straight to the bumper and not have a draw tight drop down.

It was last seen around Ridge Rd. and 343 (Richfield) in Duson, LA.

**Correction to above**
One of our neighbors said they heard something that sounded like a scratching noise between 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. so we think that is when it was stolen.
Also, we believe it might have been the swivel tounge jack that was dragging the ground by the looks of the scrape marks leaving our driveway.

Cypress,
I have not heard of this as a problem although fully believable.
Im just curious where along the border it showed up?

My fiance would have been home at the time we think it would have been done, but she detoured to meet friends for lunch. I wish she would have, but then again I hate to think what could have happened if she would have caught them mid act being it was only her and our 7 1/2 month old son.

I hope so, but I am afraid it will probably be the same thing. We have new construction going up a road over and there have been Mexicans working there. I am going to look into that further. I was thinking humm... between 12:30p and 1p... sounds like knock off time for construction workers on a Friday... and they would have seen my fiance leave that morning. And would have been able to see how our schedule works in our household. But, on any normal day... my mother stays home with our son while I go to work and my fiance goes to school then to work. So there is USUALLY someone always at my house.

I would love to run into someone that way... just to know that my boat would be returned to me in one piece. I just pray that Wildlife & Fisheries or the Sheriff's Dept. gets their hands on them before I do.

Uvalde police department found it completly stripped on the side of the road. It is a really bad feeling to have something taken from you when you worked so hard for it. I am still working with insurance on it.
