2002 was the official start of the pool raise, changing the elevation from 455 to 462, which is our current "normal Pool level". With this addition to the elevation, almost 1500 acres of wooded areas and grass covered prairies were submerged, providing Waco Lake with all the forage it needed to propel the quality of fish through the roof! We've had numerous records broken within the last year, so the proof is in the pudding as they say!

Thats right Big AL, dont you like it when them cajun woman call you baby.. And fix you a nice Po.boy sandwich ,, dressed ,... or a nice sloppy roast beef sandwich on french.. And wasnt it good to go sit down in a nice resturant, enjoy your dinner, then drink you some good community , or cafe du monde coffee, without somebody trying to push you out the door.. the good ole days. I grew up working on tug boats on the mississippi river, and dredging oysters in point la hache. Also ate plenty mosquitos while pushing nightrigs up and down the pipeline canals for shrimp in violet and delacroix.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

valuable information there,, thanks. I guess that means that many of the older brushpiles that were put out ,are now in 20 to 22 feet.
