I met my new friend, Pat (sac-a -liat Pat)., at the boat ramp in Waco to go do a little scouting and kind of a meet and greet prefish. We had a great time, and caught plenty of fish. It is always great to fish with people who are great crappie fisherman like Pat surely is. I learned alot today about fishing brushpiles, and Pat brought some real good jigs that we put to use , and they kept the fish coming over the gunwales. When we were done fishing we broke out the hogshead cheese ,and set up the coleman cook stove under an old pecan tree at the ramp and fried up some good cajun sausasage from Lejeanes Sausage Kitchen. Come on down to Waco Gloria, if your feeling good, its a fun little lake to fish, around 7500 acres, and lots of 13 to 25 feet water, they keep the lake level fairly stable, and very good facilities, and ramps.
