I could never justify spending that much money on one lure. I've seen too many other less expensive, less "sexy" crankbaits that will produce. x2 But if you feel that a LC catches more fish and give you more confidence while fishing go for it.

I've seen tournaments won on H2O Square bills when an RC wouldn't buy a bite. Both baits were used in the same spot in the same color. H20 22lbs, RC zero.
I also had experience with the H20 popper out producing Yellow Magics 4 to 1. Same spot, right next to each other. I had 3-5 fish trying to eat mine (on every cast) while my buddies Yellow Magic didn't even get a looker....2' away. He was rather upset.
I've also seen it work the other way around. LC out produce others.
It's a weird deal when fish are so zeroed in on one bait and not another (even when they look alike). It sure takes the science right out of it!
I own both.....tons of each brand, even in the same colors. They each have their place and time....I just haven't figured it all out yet! LOL!

I have quite a few Lucky Crafts, and I find that the pure expense of them keeps me from throwing them - after I lost a couple, I cannot get passed the dollar signs. If I lose another lure, it is soon forgotten - but I can almost tell you the exact location where and how I lost my $16 Lucky Craft's. I know that this is my own problem, but a problem it is?

I've used both LC's and Academys a lot trying to keep an open mind about which is better based solely on results. I honestly couldn't tell the difference over the long haul. That's just my personal experience with them. By the way, all LC's don't run true out of the box.

Thats a great question. Thats an awesome question..............Some of my Luckys I won't throw unless $ is on the line. I'm serious. I have made some great catches on my 110's. There is something that bass love about that bait. I think it just falls right, and more importantly so do the bass. It is not available anymore so I cannot say the new is the cats meow, but I bet it's not a bad choice.

absolutley! having said that I dont know that I will ever own another of their shallow divers b/c of h2o express unless im just in love with one of lc's colors. the h2o's are that good. I'll never own another walking bait beside a sammy I just have to much confidence in the thing. I bought 3 in several colors 3+ years ago and I'm still fishing the same one that I tied on first and the others havent seen the water. Great bait and a retarded monkey can walk a sammy.

Yep. Till you break a few off. Then no. JK I love LCs but they do have a tendency to make your wallet lighter.
