The best part, not a single one of them caught a crappie while we were there. Presentation was critical and they didn't know what we were doing. (and I'm not telling)

But you should have seen the boat race when we left. grin
Dang EP, is the lake that crowded?
Everyone must know you two by your boat and follow you guys around the lake.
Maybe we can go in my boat next time and not draw a crowd!
I just tie a tow rope to them. It saves on my gas. rolfmao

Ya I hate that - to close for me is 100 plus yards away.

I hate having boats around me - with whatever kind of fishing I'm doing.

Most folks never even see me on the weekends Im no were close to the popular spots on the weekends.

When they pull up on you I just pull up my marker and move on - there is way, way to many other spots to catch em (just wave and say good luck, have fun and good bye).

Fishing is supposed to hassle free relaxing and enjoyable just move when you have folks (follow you) and pull in on you (if you move often enough - they either get tired of following or they find enough fish where you just left them and then they leave you alone).

It's just politeness and courtesy, much of which is lacking in the world today. Consideration for our fellow man is second to people's selfishness. sigh.... I just wish people would be nicer.

For me, fishing is about peace and tranquility, not boating a limit of keepers everytime I go out. Enjoy the lake, enjoy the weather and have a great time out with friends and family. Life is too short.

After the fish quit bitting I left and later when I came back by there they where sitting in the spot that I was fishing in. People you got to love them or forgive them. The right thing to do is forgive them like Christ did for us.

You are so right..and Christ let 'em fish all day and THEN told them to fish on the other side of the boat! wink

Don't say a word to them, just untie back out in full reverse turn the boat back down again then take off full throttle, do afew donuts the prop wash should turn off the fish, and the best part is you are turning your cheek rolfmao

Just tell them, "I sure am glad you guys came over here. I've been broken down all day and need a tow in (to a boat ramp as far away as possible). Either they'll leave or give you a tow. If they comply let them tow you for about 15 minutes and then start up your big motor and tell them never mind. laugh
