I was tied up to this tree and a boat came and tied to the same tree but on the other side. Well the fish was only bitting on my side. Well I was by myself that day and after I had pull in several nice fish one of the guys in the other boat ask if he could climb over into my boat and fish Well I was surprised at the request and I just act like I didn't hear him and caught another nice Crappie. After the fish quit bitting I left and later when I came back by there they where sitting in the spot that I was fishing in. People you got to love them or forgive them. The right thing to do is forgive them like Christ did for us.

I have had fishermen post up right next to me and fish. I am pretty much going to move because my wife ain't gonna tolerate me out on the lake fightin. I don't mind a little close quarters. It makes it easier to carry on a conversation. I don't know what I would do if they tied up to the same tree tho. Ain't that kinda like startin some stuff?? Onewolf

Just kidding
I don't guess there is actually anything you can legally do other than what you did

I'm not harping on legal issues. I'm just harping on ethics.

I got more Darrell, we got to fish together sometimes, Ive heard how crazy you are. haha LET ..ER EAT DANGIT!!! HAHA
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I've had some non-english speaking Vietnamese people pull right up on me out in the middle of nowhere (it would seem to the casual observer) and try to tie TO MY BOAT. They learned a few choice english words and I suppose expressions are universal. They said a few words to each other like "goonie goo goo" or something and split.

This past Sunday when Ernest and I were fishing Lewisville, we were on our first spot of the morning, and catching a crappie on every cast. Several boats saw that and came over to our location, but kept their distance. Then one guy decided that he would use his trolling motor to set in the exact spot we were casting. After a few minutes I asked him if he minded if a jig landed in his boat. He just looked at me for a while, then he moved, but not far. Then another guy threw his anchor out and scopped back until his boat was banging up next to our buoy. I asked if he could move furhter off. He said the wind was pushing him next to us. I told him if he hadn't anchored so close in the first place, that wouldn't happen. Then he proceeded with a 'stare off', which I was glad to accommodate. He moved.
Some people just don't think.....and others are so stupid that they don't care.

That's down right funny. I'm going to have to try it. I'm good at running my mouth all nonsencically like. My father-in-law, who I usually fish with, was an MP for too long and runs a little tightly strung. Running off the encrouchers by acting like a nutball not only acomplishes the goal, but it would give Pops a pretty good laff too.

Guy is correct, they were all over us. The old guy in the pontoon must have a hearing problem because when I shot my 1/4 oz jig into the side panel on his boat he did'nt seem to notice. He may later notice the nice dent it made. (probably not) The best part, not a single one of them caught a crappie while we were there. Presentation was critical and they didn't know what we were doing. (and I'm not telling) But you should have seen the boat race when we left.

Everyone must know you two by your boat and follow you guys around the lake. Maybe we can go in my boat next time and not draw a crowd!
