Well I haven't done the trolling recess or the flippin deck yet. I've got everything ready, maybe next week? I hope? I will post some pics when I do it though.

I GPS'd at 58-59 last week, it was flirting with 60. I'm currently running a 23p Tempest Plus and it's set 3 1/2 inches below pad. No jackplate yet, that's next. Still have to pull the fuel tank soon to find a livewell leak too.

Philbones, just for comparison's sake, what prop are you running now?

I have a 5 blade on mine . It was on it when I got it. Not real sure what it is but it gets out of the hole in a hurry. Here is a pic.

Wow, even the transom of that boat looks new!! Did it ever get used? You have a rare gem there, take good care of it and it will last you forever.

And I'll bet it does get on plane quick with that 5 blade. You could definately get some more speed with another prop like a 3 blade Tempest, but it all depends on what you want.

Beautiful boat man, now go catch some feeeeesch!!

Thanks Jay. Yes its on plane in a hurry! Maybe I will get a 3 blade in a few months and try it out. Were you able to find any manuals on our boats? I have looked on the web but haven't found any info on our boats. Make sure you let me know how your other projects turn out.

Hey, sorry I didn't reply sooner. Didn't see your reply.

Haven't found any manuals that date back that far. If you search eBay for manuals you will occassionally find one. The closest to mine I've seen is a 1992 I think? They pop up here and there so you just have to watch for them.

Still haven't done the other projects, but I'll pm ya when I do. Just been too busy, hot, or both.

That is just amazing work. If I had a boat that needed work like that, I would definitely give Spanky a call. Congrats on a fantastic job and great looking ride. Enjoy.
