Yep green sunfish. They get really big. I had one in a koi pond that would eat worms out of my hand.

Green sunfish and the do get big....there is a 25 acre lake/pond near me and I caught one that was 13 inches long and weighed 2 lbs

Yep Green Sunfish, no doubt.

We go to Broken Bow, OK a couple time a year and catch them by the bunches, throwing small crawfish pattern cranks around the steep rock banks. They get big, often approaching 1 lb+, pretty dang good eatin'.

that one looks like a bluegillx green sunfish hybrid.
Notice the deeper body like a bluegill with the big mouth
of the green sunfish. the green sunfish is shaped more
like a bass than most other sunfish.
