I caught this fish on a Stanley Ribbit rigged with a 4/0 EWG hook. It has a mouth as wide as a crappie but looks like a sunfish or perch. Is it a rock bass of some kind. Thanks

its a cross between a goggle eye and blue gill. called turquoise sun fish

I love catching those, they fight pound for pound (ounce for ounce) as hard as a bass. Have a pond by my house that is full of them.
