ctbassnut, are you referring to illegal immigrants? If so, I find this somewhat unlikely. If they are legal immigrants, what's the problem?

My sister in law that works for lake point hospital that had to give the construction workers ID cards to work there. They were giving her mexican driver lic for the ID. So your sadly mistaken my friend if you think they are taking jobs from americans.

I'm not arguing that some illegal immigrants are taking some jobs, but you try and make it out that city and state officials are illegals. I think we need to be much tougher on illegal imigration, to include sending those that are here packing, but just because someone is mexican, doesn't make them an illegal. People saying they see illegal immigrants at the lake doing this and that, unless you checked their immigration status, well you don't really know.....

Oh and yes they are sending people packing to other states.Guess you didn't read my whole post when i stated they my sister in-law gave out hospital id badges to over 20 of them with out of country drivers lic(meixico).Me and my wife are leaving here by the end of july wheather our house sells or not and its because this state has been over run no other reason. Pretty soon everyone down here will be eatting taco's for thanksgiving.Enjoy

I really dont think illegals are in city and state positions just yet but I can see it happeneing one day if nothing is done. I think its actually pretty easy to pick out an illegal immigrant. Some may have work permits which make them legal but they are still not US citizens. Ive lived in TX all my life and its just part of life here. I dont think anything can ever be done to stop immigration so they(government) should think of a way to profit from it and and help the American people. de

saw the same thing on the Freeport jetties last year during the bull red run, we caught several big OS reds and released them, looked around and saw everyone around me had stringers full of the bulls. I called the game warden and they said they would send someone out and if they made an arrest or issued a ticket i would get a reward, i waited all day and they never showed up, i called back and they said no arrest or tickets were made, they could have issued hundreds that day... sigh... what is this world coming too... frown i actually Ran into a warden a couple months ago and asked about his kind of thing and how most of the ppl that are breaking the law are not the boaters its the weekend ppl that crowd the beaches and every overpass where there is water and he clamied they just dont have the man power to get to every spot but it sounds like BS to me feels good to vent...lol

I agree with what part time suggested at least take there fishing equipment away. Rod, reels, nets, hooks, everything. at least make it a little difficult to break the dang law.

Yeah this is all getting out of hand. Since I can't seem to get the attention of the right people who control the policy, enforcement and funding, I intend to vote any irresponsive, irresponcible, and power influenced officials I can out of office who won't fix this problem starting at the top in Washington and work my way down. That way they will see how the illegals are impacting 'their' job too and not their constituents. But then they probably are too blind to see it that way. Cant' wait for the next election.

okay, if I see someone robbing your place, I will just figure he's just feeding his family, might even stop and help him

Cast netting makes me more angry then anything. I was fishing at the sandy lake road dam this evening and watched a guy throw his net out and get a huge hybrid, he put it on a stringer of course. I didnt say anything, I probably should have. However, one day when I was down there, there were 2 guys who didnt speak a word of english cast netting and they were getting small crappie and using them for bait. I flipped when I saw that and called the game warden but i dont know if he ever came or not. I just try to do the right thing and I think we all should.

If people understood what was important in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles.
