Whether they be black, white, asian, hispanic, or whatever, they all get away with whatever they want to because it is so much of a hassle for law enforcement to be able to do their job the way it needs to be done. I'm all about everyone having a good day fishing but all of this bs with the game wardens has to stop! I have been stopped countless times on braunig while illegals just pass on by with no tx#ers or lifejackets in the boat.Why is it I get a full inspection on my boat and these other #?*!ers get away with it? Arent we the ones who pay their salaries with our fishing tax dollars? I wonder what would happen if a person who was being inspected by a Game Warden called in to report an illegal activity ie boats over their weight limit, no life jackets, no tag etc...Wouldn't the game warden have to investigate?

Or after being investigated tell the Game Warden "I want to report a Crime." I am fixing to start fishing Braunig on a regular basis. the game wardens are more than welcomed to check me..I have nothing to hide BUT when/if he pulls up the first thing I am going to say is I want to report an alleged crime. I'm hispanic myself, but it's people Like that that are the reason we get looked at wrong all the time. I fish in a yak. So i wouldn't be surprised if a boat with white guys looked at me like I can't afford a boat because I'm Hispanic. But I follow all rules and regulations to the teeth. I would react the same if it were white guys throwing the castnet out like that. It couldve been black, Chinese, Japanese, Hawaiian etc, it's still wrong. All in all, I shouldve reported them on my way out. Theose poachers just sat at the truck eating sandwhiches and laughing. Anywho, I live 20 min from braunig and have been there 3 times the past 3 weekends and caught nothing. Are Fish hitting Shad strong rite now still?

It's not a race thing. I've seen white guys poach, asians keeping undersized fish, mexicans spear-fishing and cast-netting, black folks ignoring the limit. All colors shapes and sizes (and even women) are capable of breaking the laws. They should all be prosecuted and GWs should enforce all the laws fairly. Nothing less than that.

If GW doesn't want to write a ticket because the illegal can't pay, then go ahead and confiscate the equipment. I bet that's a much better deterrent than a ticket!

I'm white and follow the rules without question, but i don't mind a man doing what he needs to do to put food on the table.

At our business we have a pond that we let people fish from. Sometimes they keep illegal fish but they never take more than they need. Who am i to tell a man he can't keep what he caught (whatever the means) and feed his family.

I really doubt it is just to feed the family in most cases. Hell the equipment cost more than groceries. So if I see a guy rob you, just to feed his family, I shouldn't worry about it right?

Bottom line its is a law and regardless if they are white, black, asian hispanic, legal or illegal, if they are keeping to many or undersized fish they are breaking the law.
