heck yeah. the texas rigged pumpkinseed power worm was the sh*t back then. the blue fleck, ribbed 4" power worm did an awesome job as well. i would always make it a point to have a couple bags of each.

Tom Mann's purple or black rubber worm , as we called them back in the day.. when I was kid I carried a book of matches with me so when they tore I'd melt them back together .

Jackall Flickshake wacky jig head with a Grande Bass Rattlesnake. Every time I pick it up I feel like I'm gonna catch a fish.

The cool thing about this post is you can age the fisherman by the lure they first had confidence in.

Hawaiian Wiggler! You gotta be old to know this bait. My first bass were caught on this lure, on my first bass fishing trip with my Uncle at a little private lake near Paris, Texas. I was about 14. We were fishing in a Yellow Jacket Boat, with a mercury motor! My Uncle told me to cast underneath the overhanging willow trees and I caught my first artificial bait-bass, a 2 pounder on that lure. From then on I was hooked! BTW, it is an inline spinner bait, about the same size as a regular spinner bait. Interesting side note: In Mexico they call a spinnerbait a hawaiyana (sp?), obviously derived fromt the Hawaiian Wiggler with it's rubber skirt!
