Beetle Spin in white w red dot or that bream looking color.

Killer on the Concho River

With my Zebco 33 I could stick that little bait all around those hanging mesquite limbs! Lol

Back in the day,I fell inlove with a black/chrome wake bait made by Rebel.I'd chunk that thing under those low hanging tree limbs along the bank and wear em out. Then I went to the tiny torpedo and Rebel floating minnow. My worms were all from mister twister.Black/firetail,blue ice/firetail purple /firetail and purple/white tail were the best.30 years later, and I still use most of them.Still haven't figured out how to put the hooks in an H&H.

I caught the first bass that I can remember on a red & white Jitterbug of my Dad's. I caught many more fish on it before I retired it. I still have it as a keepsake. I would say I had total confidence in it every time I tied it on.

Like you guys, I also caught a lot of bass on H&H spinnerbaits, BeetleSpins, Rebel floating minnows, and Roostertails.

Once I got into Junior High and learned soft plastics, it was a 4" Larew Salty Craw (Black & Blue) or an Arkansas Shiner Slug-Go.

H&H spinnerbait. We had very little money to spend on baits as a kid in the early 70s. Man could those little baits catch the fish. And they still do.

Texas rig plastic worm. A friend showed me how to fish them 20 years ago. It's what I fish with 99.99% of the time.

Has to be a purple/white tail 4" ring worm.Used to fish these gravel pits over in seagoville back when I was kid and would kill'em everytime it was nothing to pull out 40 bass.Of course I could have probably thrown a Dorito with a hook in it and caught fish in that place.

Mepps Comet Minnow and yellow shyster. I still use the comet minnow in tourneys when things are really tough and I am just looking for weighers.
