I'm so sick of poor customer service and bad business practices. You would think in a tough economy that businesses would want to take EXTRA measures to make customers happy. I am also a strong believer in DARWINISM. With that said:

You should call them out, maybe it will embarrass them enough that they will change their business practices or at least let everyone know who not to use.

Unless they have change, maybe two weeks. Take it to Lake Fork TM Repair by Lake Fork Marina, same day service nearly on everything in my experience and reasonable.

There is no excuse for poor customer service and certainly no excuse for being rude to a customer. No matter how busy your day is, no matter how many personal issues you may have or what else may be bothering you, being rude to customers or not providing good service is not acceptable.

Getting work done on our fishing equipment is usually rather expensive. I have reached the point where I no longer accept poor service. If the service is not acceptable, I will tell the person about it and expect the situation to be corrected. If that does not happen, there is a real good chance that payment will not be provided for the unacceptable service. I will also not hesitate to take my business elsewhere next time and also let other people know of issues I have with a person or business in the hope this will help them avoid the same problem I had.
