I'll go with 1-3 depending on time of year and my mood. Can't say I'm quite a 4 yet.

Between #1 and #2 ... I am delighted if I catch anything but I have found myself getting cocky and looking for "the bigun"

Type 6, CATMANDO, whatever I catch is what I was wanting to do.

I think I go back and forth between 1 and 2. Some times I want a bunch, but lately I've been looking for biguns. Since I haven't really caught a BIG one, I can't be three yet.

I am workin on phase 1 and headin to 4. My Dad and I had the opportunity to fish with tgravely a.k.a. stinkbaittom a.k.a. mr. gravely and he put us on 5 beautifull blues, 1 gar and 1 sandie. We had the chance or {I had the chance} to land a bunch more but I wasn't quite quick enough on the draw to catch some {A lot of free lunches for the Kitties}. stinkbait let me do all the catchin on HIS poles!!!. He worked tirelessly all day and we have nothing but the greatest gratitude to show for it!!!Bait of choice today was threadfin shad and sure shot.Mr. Gravely, it was an honor to go Cattin with you. Tight Lines!!!

I like catching Channel Cats when spawning. But I really set up my lil boat and rigs tp my preference for the chase and hunt of Bluecats!!! I would like to hang a nice flathead. However I really don't set up for flatheads as I do for Blues. I have friends who specifically try for flatheads and Im learning and may try some this year. I prefer channels and blues over 16 inches and of course have let all flatheads I have caught go back with my largest only being slightly over 5lbs go. Heck Ive only caught about a half dozen flatheads in my life likely all by accident. Numbers are not the game for me I'm happy if 2 or 3 hours yields a half dozen fish...and who doesn't like big or decent ? I give away more than I keep. I love fish but its only me and the wife at home..so we do not need a lot usually. So what phase or number does that make me????
