Great boat with a great finish out. I don't own one because it only has a 94" beam. I qualify that because I bought the Z520 due to that fact. What is the beam on the Skeeter ZX 250?

I got a 199 a couple months ago. We were at Rayburn all this past week in some real big, rough water. My buddy just got a 21i with a 250 HPDI and we had some fun with him. He came up from behind me cause he was doing the tuck and hide letting me cut the waves. When we got around a point he opened up and gave me a one fingered salute and proceeded by me thinking he was in charge. The Legend with a full tank of fuel and 2 guys with a 225 Merc just cruised by him and I returned the guesture. We got her up to 76mph no slouch and not the fastest boat but what a ride! The Skeeter has a massive deck and yes the Legend has a smaller width deck but you have two totally different boats. Nothing fishes like a Skeeter period, great boats but I like the attention to detail of the Legend. Seen alot of new Bass Cats and they are really sharp too!

Just curious, has anyone driven the legend with the new SHO strapped on the back?

I don't know anyone who has the SHO on a Legend yet. One good buddy of mine has one on the Skeeter and it doesn't push it as they billed it. He is running a Fury prop just to get it to run.
You have to take with a grain of salt what salesmen tell you :):) Sorry sales folks.

Randy had the SHO on his new boat, he had it over on Toledo one day... the boat had great lift, but not sure about the 80mph deal. I think he sold that boat in less than a month, so I'm not sure of any real numbers, but I think 80 might be a stretch of a salesman's imagination! As far as Legend being a good boat.... absolutely! built like a tank, rides like a cadillac, and will run with the best of em!

I think the original Legends were splashed from the Hawk and Cobra molds. These were molds that were a Ranger copy (480 series) withe some mods.
They've been modified quite a bit now.
Legend obviously makes an awesome product.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !
