It means fish a different lake than Joe Pool. There are big fish in Joe Pool...... just not many.

Never had that problem just get a gold hook and hook a minnow in the tail and one in the lip and your problem is over.Darrell DW, you ought to be ashamed holdin out on the poor fellow. You know that technique won't work without that 1/8 sinker on the bottom and in an area that has gravel leading into it..

Thoughs crappie are a peace of cake to catch just find an old submerged cedar grove.

Bobcat, I've got a couple of old railroad flares.. I figured I would stick one in one of those cypress trees for light. You think it'll work?

Don't pay attention to these clowns  On my home lake, I've noticed the bigger fish usually spawn earlier than the small fish. Once I see undersized males up shallow, the spawn is winding down. There is no scientific proof to that statement just years of experience. Gotta go, off to plant some cedars....

As long as you back off from it it might. The only thing that concerns me would be the lack of cedar groves.
