 What does it mean when you are catching nothing but small crappie

I was told that the smaller crappie come to shallow water first, then the big ones follow, is this true?

It means you need to move to another spot.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Never had that problem just get a gold hook and hook a minnow in the tail and one in the lip and your problem is over.Darrell

from what i learn from here.. males come first shallow water then big females follow... if you only catch tiny ones, try bigger bait during night time...

I caught the biggest bass Ive ever caught on a tiny rapala in a foot of water. 8.8 lbs.
