Can anyone tell me if there are any good spots to bank fish on Lake Grapevine?

Is there fish in Grapevine? All the good spots are fished out!

I have fished all along the Southeast shore among the rocks & did good on Bass. The Northeast shore for Sandbass & the beach along Northwest shore (ORV area) for cats. Crappie around marina tire walls & log jams in the creeks when spawning.

Me and JZ caught them all last year hahahahahahahahahaha

We went out to Grapevine on Saturday for about 5 hours and the only thing we hooked was a buffalo. I think we will try Lewisville next weekend.

I haven't landed anything yet but I hung something huge a week ago while bass fishing. It started ripping drag and going where ever it wanted. I fought it for a few minutes but it hung me up and broke me off. That was my first fish to get on the hook this year and it was a big mofo too bad it didn't count. Probably a big ole catfish though. I'm going this Saturday for sure if it isn't blowing 30mph winds. lol

Grapevine is an awesome lake for bank fishing all kiddin aside. I spend most my days when I can there and usually catch fish during the warmer months. The lake level has really but a damper on my favorite spots but sooner than later it will be on from the bank at the Vine. Heads up, stay away from Bassitup and anyone with ties to Crooked I..these guys carry around fancy equipment and tend to think they know what they are doing..they are the guys who love to fish the slow baits..LOL!
