2. Creek wedding band
We to FW bridge at 5 am. Water 2-3 foot high, muddy and moving fast. Clarity is about 1 inch. Who's in the Creek Wedding Band and what kind of music do they play?  I guess they must be "Unplugged"! Did they have a cameo in that movie "My Big Fat Creek Wedding"?  WTF? THIS IS THE THREAD FROM 2009 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JEEEEEZ!

Thanks then to whoever brought it back.
Since the recent thread from Carey was locked I figured newbies might appreciate some of the tips in this old thread. By looking throught this thread & his new one they will see that the basics haven't changed over the years. Most of what worked then is still working now. Maybe it will give them confidence to keep at it even if they aren't catching the same numbers as others who fish & post regularly.

Caught 15 keepers this morning for about 1 1/2 hrs with cut shads. Nothing else worked for me this morning.
Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best..
