SUFFIX!!!!!! Its smoother than any line I have used. Braid on the fibers is so much tighter than the competition.

I use a lot of Stealth;but if I'm dropping big jigs through grass in 30 foot of water I like Terry Oldhams Lynch line.It is a white braid so I camo about 10 feet with black, red and green magic markers. Then I put a black area about every 18 inches until It is marked to about 35 foot.It only takes a few drops to know about which mark is bottom contact. If it stops to soon you know it and if it goes to deep it might be a fish.Really a supple strong line.

Samuari is absolutely the best out there to me... DIAWA Samuari +10000 It is 8 strand braid, instead of 6. It is amazingly smooth and SUPER STRONG! It is a little pricey, but out performs Power Pro by a LONG shot!

I have tried many of the others mentioned above, but BPS's Excel in 30lb works for me. Sometimes it is used with a floro leader. Jim

been a HUGE fan of spiderwire stealth for years(even use 65#test offshore for tuna fishing with 22# of drag). Gonna have to try the samurai stuff out, seems it has some good recommendations!

Anyone using mono or floro leaders with a swivel for quick leader changing?? uni/uni knots are a bear on the water!!! We use swivels with braid and fluorocarbon leaders for Tuna all the time. It's no different from fishing a weightless Carolina rig. Spro makes a black stainless Super Swivel that will handle anything you can dish out.. very small and 220# teast.
Just make sure you Do Not to reel the swivel into the rod guides... you can use a plastic bead above the swivel to keep that from happening.

There is no braid like Sufix. Power pro is a close 2nd and it is cheaper but not as smooth or round.

Are you kidding me? 1. Power Pro 2. Suffix . . . . 792,628. Spiderwire, if all the other companies stop making braid.
