What's going on guys. Planning my first trip down to Amistad next month and looking to buy some braid. I've never really used braid so I don't know much about it. Most guys say the Suffix performance and power pro are the best ones, but I figured I would ask the experts.

I have had good luck with Power Pro.

Power Pro here, I have tried many others, and always go back to it.

+3 on the Power Pro. Doesn't fray and tangle up so easily as others.

I'm one that doesn't really like powerpro. For flipping anyways, it seems to cut up my hands worse than other braids. If cost isn't a big deal, my new fave is Daiwa Samurai. It's a little more expensive than some. Tried it and love it...easy so handle. Second on my list would be Spiderwire Ultracast.

I use the Spiderwire Stealth Spiderwire. Power Pro is good also. I wasn't a fan of Suffix braid.
