A confirmed crappie fisherman for years to come I bet.

Oh my mistake. I thought Chris said everyone else was spider rigging meaning y'all weren't. That's awesome about that father/son team. I would have loved to see that. Brings back memories of my childhood. Congrats Max on you and Chris getting 4th. Awesome job.

It really was a great day.
Yes, it was slow, but the monsters were moving.
Glad you got one. Nice to have met you.
cheers
Way to go Chris! I knew you guys were gonna be good.

It was fun, almost everyone had a 5-6 lb limit...Tough fishing and may I say spider rigging is like watching paint dry...Especially when everyone you catch is in the 10-11 inch range...

Not a great way to fish IMO...

Keep going against the grain and keep finishing 10th. I'll do what it takes to put myself in position to win. I personally wish more people would refuse to troll.
Two years ago, very few teams were trolling at Lavon in February and very few teams weighed fish. I saw more people fishing the way they needed to to win yesterday.. We had new winners and more fish caught. Seems like CAT is doing a good job of teaching people to become better fisherman.
I'm not scared of anybody or any style. Your good teams can do it all, shooting docks, timber, bridges, brush piles and trolling, whatever it takes to win. It may help your ego to say you only fish with one pole but your not giving yourself a chance to win on a day like yesterday.

For all you one pole guys, there is a one pole tournament on Lewisville in May. What will your excuse be that day juggle

Congrats to the winners.

I totally agree with Jerry. I tried the one pole method and ended up skunked. I'll be getting set up to spider rig as soon as I can....and I'm really looking forward to learning a new way to catch crappie.

Congrats on the Big Fish(The picture does not do it justice)

Congrats to the father and son team who won Div II, it was great to see how proud the young man was.

You might look HERE for starters. You should get some really good info from other TFFers too.

Congrats Mark. You had a plan and stuck to it and it paid off. I bet your son likes trolling cheers
If you left a jacket in Craig's boat, I have it and I'll get it back to him.

I've noticed that about me sometimes. My fingers start typing and before long I have typed too much. This time I will not. Congrats to all the winners!
