Spinnerbaits and cranks are My favorite, I'll fish a Spinnerbait in stuff so thick most people would be flipping a jig, but when I pick up My flipping rod it's really nasty ! and thats the way I like it, Love to junk fish, what I have a hard time making Myself do is fishing open water, I'll know I need to move offshore and fish humps and contor changes but I just can't hardly make Myself do it

I try to listen to the fish and let them tell me what they want.

I've got seasonal favorites. I love to catch 'em on suspending jerkbaits like the rogue just as much as I do ripping a trap thru the grass or throwing a topwater. But my absolute favorite way to catch 'em the majority of the year is throwing a frog over grass. I'll even pick the lake I want to fish on a given trip based on the frog bite.

I Always try not to stay too far from the Texas rig, Rat-L-Trap, and spinnerbait trio. They have caught me 90% or more of my fish and work great in combination with each other.

I like to fish a square bill crank then switch to a wacky or shakey head rig.

Nice guys thanks, this is exactly what i was thinking. Most people seem to have their traditonal tried and true, and that differs between folks, i guess depending on age, location, etc. I guess general knowledge would lead one to believe that after reading these posts, bass will consistantly bite a bunch of different baits and it all depends on presentation. I guess the people who do better with certain baits over others are actually presenting them in a way that makes them bite, and maybe not so much with the ones they dont use as much.
WATCH OUT FOR THE J.T. HOOKSET!!!
