Just got a call, 7 boats probably tourny prospects and slow....EXCECPT the CALLER.....Lets just say he was was happy.

Paul and I went out today. Lake looks good on the south end. 41-42 degrees We managed 15-20 keepers but most were just 11 inch fish except for the big ones

So how were the ramps?...Hope we get this one in... Tim, we unloaded at Clear lake and it was about 2' from the top of the ramp. I heard East Fork was a lot closer to being covered.

You are right about East Fork. Just left my slip out there and it won't be too much longer before it's closed if they don't open the gates soon.

If someone will tell me how to open the gates I will go open them to make sure the tournament happens. This will be my first tourney and I am really looking forward to it.

7 Day forcast channel 5 just said mid 50's Wed-Fri, with Friday a good chance of rain with front, Sat. high 47 with north winds 10-20mph I hope there wrong, but I hope more the lake is open regardless of the conditions Im ready to kick it off!

guys i put in at eastfork yesterday..ramp on the right over by the marina...its up alright, but serviceable. we had no probs off loading for loading. leroy and i talked for quite a while.. he said he heard that they were going to open up early this week, i dont know where that came from. hubbard is releasing some so i would imaging lavon will soon too.
as for the fishing....TOUGH. trolled minners at the damn..river channel.. and tried several piles . marked fish all over the place but never could stay on anything in 25mph winds. weather should be alot better this weekend so i wont have any excuse.. other than the obvious..lol

well thats about the opposite of the forecast i just heard on the radio..man who knows. radio weather man just said we were looking beautiful by saturday.. highs in the low 60's.. must be easy to be a weather man in TX.. no one ever expects you to be right.
