well they aint releasing any water cause there is nowhere for it to go, almost at ramp closing time, and 2 weeks till tourny day. Do we even hope that they will be able to dump enough water for us to fish I WONDER!!!!

there not gonna open lavons gates till hubbard is back to normal pool i assume. but i would rather fish lavon with high water than with the gates wide open...wouldnt yall? i dont know maybe if they open em mid week and it has a few days to get right itll be ok. i dont get why they opened em for 2days then shut em back down last week, didnt change lavon or hubbard elevation to do that at all really. i more concerned with the water clearing up in some of my spots up there than i am with the gates being open or not. well see what happens i guess

u been down to the east fork ramp to look at it lately? ill be there this weekend so ill put eyeballs on it..
i would imaging lavon and hubbard will both be wide open by then.. and when they do that itll take a 1/2oz head to vertical jig at RH..lol

I'm certainly no weather person, but I think one foot of snow is equal to one inch of rain. Maybe one of the weather gurus can straighten my math out. Anyway, I hope it doesn't get cancelled. I'm looking forward to fishing it thumb

ya i dont think the snow melting will cause a flooding type runoff, think about it..this snow is melting slowly...not like a rain coming down. seems the runoff from the snow will get there a little at a time..but like guy said..none of us are weatherologists...lmao

I hope it doesn't get canceled, I'm looking forward to beating James popcorn

It's gonna be TOUGH! I take back what I said a week ago about the weights. I think catching 7 fish will be hard to do. I haven't seen Lavon since November so I hope I can remember how to fish hmmm

1 inch of rain on soggy ground will raise Lavon a foot. I gotta believe they will release water soon. Richland Chambers is dumping but they throttled back some too.

they will close eastfork at 497.5. not hardly any ramp left right now. forget the courtesy dock and you bettter have your rubber boots on to get to your boat if you beach near the ramp. only one spot that you can step off onto dry land at the moment if you have a deep-v anyway. after today's fishing jerry is right be lucky to get 7 but them 7 went 12.4lbs
