Saturday was a little cold and a little windy, but the fish were biting and Tim and I were happy.

I think the lesson here is don't climb in that box with all your eggs....Last time I heard the bridge will get you beat, that bridge won the top three places...You never know so be prepared to try it all...Absolutes will get you beat...True dat...

7 fish huh....We won't throw so many back then...

Let's see 16 baits compared to 2. hmmm Yes odds are in the favor of more baits in the water I guess, but really to me, where is the skill in anchoring or staying over a brushpile with 8 poles in the water as compared to working a jig in a brushpile and enticing a fish to bite that one jig. I like a challenge. I don't think I would ever like spider rigging. Never could sit and watch a baited pole. To each his own. Best of luck to all of you in the Tourney. See ya all Tuesday night at the meeting. thumb

I wish it was that easy. Try having 2 each on the beereadys and one in your hand on the back of a bucking bronco while your holding the reins with one foot. On calm days we run 3 each on the holders and it's still nothing but "Get It".

I betcha the reason Guy Photoshoped that fish was to hide the minnow stickin' out of it mouth.

Yep, trolling is like watching paint dry...slowly...but sometimes that's the ticket...Again, absolutes will get you beat IMO...I don't think that I will leave either my jigs or minnows at home...But I do encourage all participants to pick one and leave the other at home...Sounds like a good plan...

Good luck to everyone, hope the weather cooperates for safety sake...

Actually, he was noodling and the rod is in the photo just to throw you off rock

FishFinder Frank, I didn't fish Lavon but hit another lake on Saturday without much success. The fishing was slow. Good luck at the tourney!

As for trolling, baiting 16 hooks with minnows in this cold weather is a challenge itself.
