was out there today around noon, fished for about 2 hours and only one magnum sandie, the rest i threw back were about 10-12 inches. not really looking for quantity. met wylie crappieman for the first time.

djc3 - down by the rxc by the 78 bridge. if you have a seine you can get minnows by the dozen there too.

Overall a good day, just wish some people would learn that you dont need a 20ft surf rod to get to the fish....

Well mine wasn't 20ft. It was only 10ft.
The only time I got caught up on someone was when I was snaged out in the middle........ all and all people should talk and see where the person next to you are so you don't get hung up on each other.

I also want to know where I could get some shad, I haven't fished for cat in almost a year.

I'm going to be out in the morning, hope everyone Catches the big ones!!

the shad are right in front of where you are casting..... but be carful not to let it sink to the bottom or you will get snagged

was out there this morning banking it and got nothing so took my tube out of the car and paddled out and had the best time fishing out there. Didnt bring anything home but had awesome 10 minute fights with 25-30lb buffalos. hooked up on 4 of them and decided to call it a day

I was there around 830 or 9 caught my limit on white bass at 1230. All was done jigin with same jig except for #25.
Everyone started showing up around noon. Got "very" crowded as soon as the cat fisherman showed up with 20 poles........
Might go back for some slabs tonight.
Pertty good day,

if youre heading east on 78. slow down when youre crossing the bridge over the creek and get to your right shoulder. about a 1/4 mile down from the bridge there should be an opening and just take the hair pin turn back towards the creek on the dirt road following along 78. it will take you straight to the creek access under the bridge by the old rxr
