Not necessarily, I'm local, and there are more people than you think who DON'T fish WTTT.
As far as Ivy goes, it's not as good as people are making it out to be. Stokers always going to catch fish. As far as the other big fish those weren't just caught in one day, I think it was over a period of weeks.
Anyway, I wouldn't take anything away from Hubbard, it's going to be really good this year.JMO

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

Not trying to hijack the post jake...

Hubbard is an awesome lake, I was just thinking numbers of anglers to make money for the fishing team. Look at how many tournaments are on Ivie in march and april alone. There is one every weekend during that period. I think it will be a great event at hubbard, with good fishing, just may not make as much money for the club. But they are both good choices for our team

Hubbard will be good that time of year, and it's not unlikely that Stoker and some of the other local heavyweights will be at the WTTT. Micropterus is right, there are plenty of us in the area who don't fish WTTT. Your T was announced at the Stillwaters meeting last night. I'm going to try and make it.

Should be a great tournament. Plenty of people will turn out, once the word gets out.
I know I am looking forward to it.

Hey Ryan, it's all good. We did consider Ivie but decided on Hubbard because Sandy Creek Marina was interested in hosting it for us. Either way we're getting good response already. It looks like it may get big big.

Announcement: We are currently updating and modifying tournament information for the better in order to organize a more user-friendly tournament format in order to accommodate more participation. Several items have been brought to our attention over the last couple of days in which we are working on now.

We have discussed and modified our format in order to tie loose ends that we did not foresee. We have corrected these and encourage all to visit our website for updated information. All who have completed their registration and mailed prior to this update will still be registered, but should not be affected in any way under the consideration of the updated rules and registration corrections. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please e-mail me or call me on my cell phone to discuss, we would love to hear from you in the hopes of hosting a great tournament for all.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and everyone's participation is greatly appreciated!
