hook-line&sinker that's a heck of fish, we used to catch'm that size in the hill country in small streams and feeder creeks, it was a blast. Congrats

I would wager 9 plus and even be willing to go 10. Looking at the breadth of the fish, the eyes, and the thickness of the tail. She's huge and if you want to call her 10 or 10 plus, I won't argue that! Great job on the fly!

shes bigger than any thing if caught so far and she looks huge congrats especially on a fly pole keep it up

Nice fish! I would say close to 10.
Tip: Next time, take fishing line and cut it to her length and then cut another to her girth. This way you can calculate within ounces, usually!!

I've seen (much less caught) so few bass bigger then 6 lbs that it's really hard for me to guess..

that's a very nice catch, not sure on the weight, but i would definitely guess somewhere around 8 maybe 9
