I had to guess on the girth but the length is about right. The top to bottom is about 8 1/2 inches so the girth is something over 17 inches.. It sure did have some broad shoulders but not so much a big belly..

put your numbers in on this website and it says like 8 3/4lbs. 23X17 makes it about 7 1/2. Nice fish but next time weigh it so you know. You gotta know how big your biggest bass is:) grin

this one weighed 7 and some change, it was 23 " don't know girth (also fly rod)

If I had weighted it then it couldn't grow with every re-telling of the story wink I'm OK with whatever it weighted regardless it's the biggest bass for me to date and made for a great photo. I'm also happy that I caught it on the fly! I think it was just a little heavier then the one BassBug posted..
