Cool pics, not quite apples to apples on those settings but nice all the same...So what happens if Johnson wins that lawsuit?...Does Lowrance have to quit making and servicing those units?

Don't know at this time. When I have time, I will do some research to see if there is any information out there in regards to the suit.

You can take either unit & make it look better than the other. There are just too many ways to make one look bad. Make the proper adjustments on the HB & it will look as sharp or sharper than the HDS w/structure scan.
A bad day on the lake is much better than a good day at work!

Outcome will depend on the negotiations between the companies if HB wins. HB could license lowrance to make the side scan, make them pay damages and shut them down, or it could be tied up in court so long that something new will come out and make it all old technology.
