heres the key, so find the lock, or loch I should say.
Woolly bugger (my way)
~beadhead
~sz 6 streamer hook to match bh^
~70 denier thread to match fly color
~maribou, Matching fly
~hackle,same
~chenille, same. Ice chenille or krystal chenille works too
~super glue or head cement
~krystal flash or head cement
1. put on beadhead and attach thread, build a thread head

2.put on maribou

and trim

3.attach hackle and chenille

4.wrap up chenille to front

5. this is where it starts getting wierd

pull extra under the body and tie off at tail. put on krystal flash and wrap it up to the front with the thread. look at close up if this is confusing.Do other side.

6. put a little super glue where your about to wrap hackle. wrap it up to front.

trim flash and tie off, can be done with krystal chenille

The super glue on the hackle was a recently added part because I had a hackle come apart in the water. This will catch!

What kind of "animal hair" were you needing for a wooly bugger?

The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

I need to look at that super-glue trick again.

I took out a year old bugger the other day. After a ten second attack by a smallish bass (a wee 9-10 incher,) the first wrap of hackle was coming off the rear of the hook.

You can do it. Human hair is even more slick than squirrel though, hard to work with.

Depends on your shampoo. I am thinking the fish may like Herbal Essence and Pantene Pro V, but I am not so sure about Selsun Blue.

On that track, I have heard before that bears secrete certain chemicals that have been known to scare salmon back down river or at least temporarily halt the advance of their migration. Humans are known to posses similar substances in our skin so I went looking to see what I could find, because I reasoned that human hair might actually repulse fish. Here is just one article I found on the topic. The applicable paragraph is at the bottom.
