Remember, you don't always have to use a trailer on a jig.

Strike King's rage tail chunk is a killer of a trailer. Here's a couple of techniques to try: be sure to cut the jig skirt off just below the hook. after putting the chunk trailer on the hook, stick a piece of rubber band (I use the tiny yellowish skirt keeper rubber bands) and slide it up against the trailer. This will keep it from sliding down the hook. you don't shake this bait or hop it. just slowly puuuuuuull it up and let it fall. let the swimming legs provide all the action. good luck
