i like a larger profile trailer w/ a finesse jig so that it slows down the fall rate...something like a paca chunk, rage chunk,Xcite flapjack...something with large pincers.

The two "finesse" trailers that I use most are the Yamamoto Double Tail Grub 4" and the Reaction Innovations Smallie Beaver.

Give that smaller YUM crawfish a try too. Nice and compact, and they come in some pretty sweet jig-matching colors.

Have fun!

I have used several trailers for my finesse jigs, but the best is berkley chigger craws, the three inch size! They are awesome!!!!!! The action when you are reeling them is good. I used to use grubs when I was swimming my finessed jigs, but when I saw the action of the chigger craw's action I was sold.

Yamamoto hula grub adds some nice bulk and really slows the fall. but I normally use the speed craw as well.

Didn't see it mentioned, but a Super Chunk Jr. works well too.

I am a big fan of the xcite flapjack craws, also chigger craws too. I also cant pass up a chompers twin tail grub either on a finesse jig.
