how's the water level on hubbard as far as getting in and out of the river?

As long as you know where the big stump is your just fine, its out of the water a few inches. I've been up there in the past few days with no problem, its plenty deep enough.

what about the 3 stumps under the powerline right before the mouth of the river? and the 2-3 out in the path between the powerline and the mouth??? theres a LOT more than just the one you can see right not.... beware.

Thats why you stay a good ways to the left through the powerlines then right after the big stump cut right into the river and your good to go.

one of the large stumps IS a good ways to the left under the powerlines. make sure you take Rockwall Marines's number with you.

So I Have never fished the lake and My G/F lives in Rockwall so I'm thinkin about Takin the boat out there this weekend!! Dont know anything about the lake so any HONEST hints please!! Dont BS around me Fellow TFFers!! I'm guessing i'm gonna attack it like anyother lake i fish!! Bends Hunps and Point/ledges if any with dd's shakey heads and jigs!! is there grass on the lake??

Rip-rap is good, the northeast side of the lake is good just dangerous to get to. If you dont know how to get up there I wouldnt advise it unless you wanna idle for an hour.

Would Anyone Be interested in letting me ride along with them one day?? I have all my stuff and am a good feller!! 24 yr old country boy!! I'll pitch in for truck and/or boat gas and/or ramp fee just b/c I have never been on the lake!! Just to get an idea of the Channels and what the lake looks like?? Dang, I have been extremely lucky. I have been staying to the right. Except last Saturday, I was putting along the same path I have always taken and I nailed a stump with the keel. Scared the bajibbies out of me.. I guess, I need to figure another path and waypoint the stumps..
