Yall all win as for I dont want to go that fast. I top out at 55mph with two in the boat along with gear.

However I have passed many a bass boats when the water gets a little rough for them I am still able to do about 40MPH....I guess we all like diffrent things and nothing wrong with any of them.

I don't know if either of these will run 80 but dang they look fast on the trailer!!

I think Florida must have some good WATER. Didn't fish much outta any of mine (ally's). Like most Ally guys, always tryin' ta make 'em go faster. No time for fishin'. Now tha Laser is different story fishn' wise but it doesn't qualify. Always been a two battery boat and still is. Don't take much ta move a "tater chip" around. 'Sides, over 80 and tha boat starts gettin' really short just like my gonads....T

what about some bay boats that haul arse:
haynie Z21 which they claim will go about 60, but i know this sucker can get upper 60's if not more. Z21

of course there is SCB: the boats are crazy, almost not bay boats, but bay boats none the less. the RC-21 is supposed to be crazy fast, i'm talking 70's with a 300proxs more than likely, just a guess!Anyways, always been a big fan of the shallow running and speed, plus custom design. SCB

and the transport XLR8 which is a 70+mph boat, can't find too much, but figures are about 73 with a 225.

I have no idea why bass boats got carpet and right hand steer!!

I have ridden in a Simmons Custom Boat with a 300 ProMax and 70 is just getting warmed up. I guessed the boat is capable of over 80 propped and set up right with a light load. That is moving in a boat that big.
