Small striped bass off the bank on lake Texoma. Took it home in a Dixie Cup box and tried to revive it in the bathtub. Couldn't of been more then 4 or 5.

I was with my step bro and his grandpa. I used stink bait and caught 4-5 big catfish. I was like 13 or 14. Fun times. That was near Lorena.

Small perch out of a stock tank on our farm in Grand Prairie. My brother and I would bag them up and Mom would cook them for us.

Juvenile LMB caught in the creek on our property that fed into Duck creek . Caught using a homemade pole with some string and a safety pin with a grasshopper for bait. I was a little feller, but I remember it like it just happened.

Largemouth Bass at Lake Nacogdoches. I can't say for certain if it was my first fish but i am certain it was my first bass. I was about three years old and was crappie fishing with my parents and sister. The bass was a slot fish, some where between 14 and 21 inches. As soon as I got it in the lake patrol came over and measured it and tossed it in to the lake. I never got to touch it . I will never forget it. Oh yeah i got even with the lake patrol a few years later.
Yes you can trust the Government, just ask the Indians.

Bucket full of bluegill, from the banks of Lake Hugo, OK, Summer 1977. Fished with my Grandpa in the boat the next day and wasn't paying attention as a fish pulled in one of his brand new rod and reels..
