Nice job and I know exactly where that is...don't make me drive across the dam. I did have some luck about 2 months ago in that spot and caught one of the biggest bass I have caught at the Vine. I can smell the garlic from here, LOL.....

Thanks JZ for posting my pics. I never thought dead sticking a purple with pink feathers rooster tail would net such a nice fish. In 20 foot of water at that.

Bassitup you are so full of it with that, if you look at your picture you can see and smell your bait from here, hanging out with JZ has you telling stories and besides we all know who the rooster tail king is on the Vine..
I got into some good top water action yesterday afternoon but not at the Vine...it was a blast!

Took my lil girlout this morning and had some luck and one really big surprise. We had a few bites, I hooked up on 5 and landed two. All were small dinks, I was tossing a shakey head. The best part was the big surprise.... I managed to catch my first smallmouth ever, it was on the shakey head and off a rocky flat that had some big rock piles. I know it had to be a SM because it was about 8 inches long and had the three "cheek" stripes on the gill plate. I was pumped about that. Had fun. JZ I will call ya this afternoon.

I thought they would have been biting a little better then they were. We stayed out there for about 4hrs, I caught that 3.0 real early on but that was it. I had a few more bites but couldn't get them in.
