That's a hybrid not a sand bass

Yea release all those that look like that - a very shinny white bass (he has been working hard - to hard). Plus he is stunted - he will never reach full maturity. And if you catch a skinny fish - they are not very good to eat - at all (they are sick to begin with).

If you released it - I hope he makes it (and recovered).

It does look lie it has a couple of lines going all the way to the tail.

I did not know they stock hybrids at ponds, just a skinny ol sandie. I caugh plenty at Grapevine that looks like that.
