I would like to know the price too, been thinking about upgrading to those batteries. Mine are almost 3yrs old, no trouble yet but I don't like to wait until I have trouble.

Also want to tell you guys the price is the only important part as shipping is free on the high end batteries.

boy's and girl's i am not a battery expert by no means but i did stay at a holiday inn once and went to a battery class for 16hrs i have been in the auto industry for 13 yrs and have lots of experience with batteries..i have 2 vehicles both have optima red tops..my boat has optimas and i have one on a shelf for spotlighting, night fishing etc.,etc.. these batteries are expensive but are worth it..times are hard but if you can scratch up the money you will become a customer of optima for life..they are the best battery i have ever used...and no i do not have any affiliation with optima

Will my MinnKota on-board chargers work with this type battery? Sure it is just like any other battery as far as how to charge it. Just the way it's made is different. Skip O.K. then. Put me down for at least one for my Evinrude. I'll do a check on my trolling motor batteries and see how they are holding up.

If the price is right I'm in, but it needs to be within a week or so. I need to replace one before I can take the boat out. Also depends on where I have to go to get it- battery savings vs. fuel cost. No matter how it turns out, thanks for taking the initiative to try this.

Thank you and the battery would be delivered to your door via UPS or FedX something like that. Skip
