Was out yesterday from 2-5. Caught a few over at twin poles. No keeper hybrids but did manage a nice blue on a slab. We managed 7 keeper sand bass on my favorite 3/4 oz. tail spinner type bait in several colors. Saw the game warden camped out E of the 121 cut writing tickets to wake violators which was nice to see. All the boat traffic whipped the waves up pretty good. We took a beating coming back across the lake. Almost took a sail boat's bow up my rear coming back through the cut he came up on me so fast. Had to gas it a little to clear out of his way.

Participated in the boat show at Deadmans on Sunday morning. Good day for me (except losing my favorite TNT 180), Fantastic day for the wife..got her some pink RJR Rattling Beast slabs from Finny Tribe. She tore them up.. beat me by at least 15 fish. Most small but fun. Later in the morning a few large hybrids moved in. Loved catching them. Need some more of that action! Needless to say the wife loves the pink slab, it not only matches her pink pole but she was telling everyone how she beat me on the fish count. Did notice a group of guys using live shad fill up an ice chest full of large Hybrids. Every time a line dropped in out came a big Hybrid.
