Actually Slug-Go is brings up a good point TheBassKing. Call the corps and ask them if you're allowed to dump non-biodegradable material (pvc) in their lake. If you're going to do it, make sure it's at night wink I wouldn't want anyone to be fined for trying to improve the fish habitat.

Back to the original question, ditches and creek channels (especially bends) ~20 ft deep are always good producers for me grin

thats funny, tons of other people post up about doing it all the time and noone says anything. I ask for some help on where to put them and I get a speech about why I shouldnt do it???

I was surprised too. But I guess you got the important information you need. Near a creek channel, in about 20' of water preferably in a cove and do it at night. And all the crappie fishermen on this board want to know where you put it.

I'll be doing the same at Grapevine very soon. I have a good idea where some existing ones are but I can't locate them on my electronics.

true true!!! wasnt trying to break the law, just assumed it was legal since so many post up about it all the time. I'm new to crappie fishing so...

thats why I use willow trees ,very hard to find,even with side scan,BTW condos show up very well.
