Actually Slug-Go is brings up a good point TheBassKing. Call the corps and ask them if you're allowed to dump non-biodegradable material (pvc) in their lake. If you're going to do it, make sure it's at night  I wouldn't want anyone to be fined for trying to improve the fish habitat. Back to the original question, ditches and creek channels (especially bends) ~20 ft deep are always good producers for me

thats funny, tons of other people post up about doing it all the time and noone says anything. I ask for some help on where to put them and I get a speech about why I shouldnt do it???

thats funny, tons of other people post up about doing it all the time and noone says anything. I ask for some help on where to put them and I get a speech about why I shouldnt do it??? I was surprised too. But I guess you got the important information you need. Near a creek channel, in about 20' of water preferably in a cove and do it at night. And all the crappie fishermen on this board want to know where you put it. I'll be doing the same at Grapevine very soon. I have a good idea where some existing ones are but I can't locate them on my electronics.

thats why I use willow trees ,very hard to find,even with side scan,BTW condos show up very well.
