I finally get a couple hours to go fishing, and of course a sand storm blows in! So I go anyway, maybe I can find some shelter from the wind and at least fish, catching would be a perk. I was targeting whatever was biting

I tied on a lime green with flash for a tail and cut loose. I did see a couple pods / schools of small carp, but no takers, or even second looks. Its still early for us, and should get better as the month continues.

I ended up loosing my first hit because I wasn't paying attention! But my second hit produced a nice little Asp!



He is a small one, but a fish none the less. Al Faw palace is in the background, an hour later I could'nt see it any longer due to the dust.
