Monte, Great Promo. The only way to top this is to make it a monthly contest.

Hmmm someone that just registered and only one post won the truck.. Look when he registed BassFever he registered back in Nov so he just did not register Thanks again Monte for doing this even thru GM's tough times to give away a brand new truck But when did the contest start?? Just seems alittle fishy... NO pun intended Do we know when and where and who was present when the name was pulled? Unbelievable. I'm hoping your comments are in jest and not serious. You obviously have zero idea about the class and integrity of Monte Coon or you would have never thought such trash, much less typed it on this board. You owe this whole forum, much less Monte, an apology.

I heard NOTHING about a free truck being given away on the radio.. Did NOT hearing the drawing... NOTHING.

The winning name was drawn from a hopper that had been spun and was randomly drawn by Brian Clark. I was at Fun N Sun the last 4 days pretty much all day every day. we saw the names being placed in the hoppr and everything was out in the open for all to see. No one in attendance had an issue. It happened at 3:45PM and about 300 people including a media person or two were standing in the showroom. In addition there are about 100,000 folks out there that just read the forum and never post or start an account and maybe post 1-2 times per year so nothing was fishy about that. I'm just glad a TFFr won the truck instead of a random stranger. Any other questions?

I was listening to the radio as well, and didn't hear it. You wanna blame Monte for the radio station not breaking in on their remote?
My bet is you would have been just as mad even if you had heard the outcome on the radio.
No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

I don't think tritonman was talking about you not hearing it on the radio...he was probably leaning more toward your "hmmm?" and "fishy" comments. I think everyone had the same awesome opportunity and we knew there would only be one lucky guy in the beginning. You probably shouldn't have put someone's integrity in question with your comments. JMO!

Hmmm someone that just registered and only one post won the truck.. We started this promotion in May as part of our sponsorship of Brian Clark on the BASS Tour. We had several 100 people present at the time of the drawing and I can assure you I personally made every effort to uphold the integrity of the drawing. I'm extremely dissapointed in your post.....

I might be asking some tough questions.. but the only one with the ballz to ask them. i'm NOT calling calling anyone a cheater.. Just asking questions... If everything was/is above board then why is everyone getting their panties in a wad? Actually the rules CLEARLY stated who would be doing the drawing and honestly initially it was gonna be the truck that Brian actually used in the Elite Series until Monte and Moritz decided to step up and just provide the exact same model but brand new instead. I know all the legalities were discussed and the rules were drawn up with help of attornies. All was above board. Also pretty much the only one getting their panties in a wad over ti is you. We all clearly understood the rules and decided to enter based on that. I think everyone present was excited for the guy that won and proud someone from here did. This is one of those times I get the impression you will not be happy no matter what is said so I am bowing out. I wish you well and sorry you were not the winner but still happy for the chance I had to win.

If everything was/is above board then why is everyone getting their panties in a wad? You seem to be the only one getting upset. You didn't win. When was the last time someone offered you a chance to win a truck like that with ZERO strings attached? The majority of the entries were from the TFF only, and you didn't even have to buy any Girl Scout cookies to enter. I'm curious why you didn't show up to watch the drawing in person. Being from Irving, you could have been there in less than 15 minutes I bet. You might have even been able to take advantage of some great deals F&S had going.

Great job Monte and Moritz Chevrolet. You gave me something to look forward to today since the Cowboys can't make the playoffs. I, as well as the rest of us, appreciate the opportunity.

Thanks Monty and Moritz Chev. Congrats to the winner and boo hoo for the rest of us. At least I had something to look forward to this afternoon. Wish it was me, but maybe in the next try if it should come along. Don't get many chances to win a truck for just signing up and for anyone that thinks there was something wrong, YOU need to get your life together and look at the positives in life instead of the negetives. Would sure make you a happier person. Thanks again Monty.............

I am a loss. I normaly dont involve myself with these threads of back and fourth, but I am really confused on why you believe this was fishy. Who cares how many posts the winner had or when he joined the forum. Everyone was invited to witness this drawing and it was not just a contest for members of this forum, it was open to anyone. I dont know why you feel it necessary to question the integrity of the winner and the people that made this drawing possible. Congrats to the winner and thank you Moritz Chevy for the opportunity to win a great truck.
