The Moritz Chevrolet Silverado Give-a-Way is less than 1 month away we have 1,501 people registered to win it. Those are some pretty good odds for a 2009 Chevrolet Crew Cab Z71 Silverado 4x4 truck.

BASS Elite Series Pro Brian Clark will be drawing the winner at the Fun-N-Sun Boat Show in Hurst on Sunday January 11th at around 4pm.

The computer program that holds the entries will separate out multiple entries. I had them do that to keep professional contest entrants from having a better chance of winning it. There are some people that do nothing but enter contests all over the country every day. I wanted to give everybody here on the forum the best chance at winning it and the only way to do that was to limit it to 1 entry per person. I can't wait till we have the drawing I just hope somebody right here wins it.

I do need to get more entries in hopes of getting to do something like this again in the future. I talked the dealership into giving away a $37,000.00 truck and only 1500 people are interested? I think we could have got that much interest if we were giving away a free $700.00 Rod and Reel combo or a GPS Unit. I think a lot of people are concerned about being spammed or getting harassing sales calls. That is not the case at all.

Has anybody here received any SPAM from us since you signed up? If you have please let me know.

What do you think about that truck Mark? I ended up going with the Graystone Metallic color the White one I was going to give away will not come in in time. After giving it a lot of thought today I decided the Graystone looked pretty good.

Saw it in the driveway when I got home and even in the dark it was SHARP. Forgot to tell you my daughter just got her permit a few weeks ago and was begging to drive it... ....My wife got home a few minutes after that and she was VERY impressed by it. Gonna go out there and really take a better peek at it in a few minutes. Whoever wins this truck should be more than satisfied. Very nice ride.

It started about 2 months ago, it was at Fun and Sun in Hurst,today was the drawing and Im sure both Monte's was there.

I owe NO one anything... I did what the man asked.. I registered for the contest like everyone else... I listened to the radio like he asked.. I heard NOTHING about a free truck being given away on the radio.. Did NOT hearing the drawing... NOTHING.

The winning name was drawn from a hopper that had been spun and was randomly drawn by Brian Clark. I was at Fun N Sun the last 4 days pretty much all day every day. we saw the names being placed in the hoppr and everything was out in the open for all to see. No one in attendance had an issue. It happened at 3:45PM and about 300 people including a media person or two were standing in the showroom. In addition there are about 100,000 folks out there that just read the forum and never post or start an account and maybe post 1-2 times per year so nothing was fishy about that. I'm just glad a TFFr won the truck instead of a random stranger. Any other questions?

I think everyone had the same awesome opportunity and we knew there would only be one lucky guy in the beginning. You probably shouldn't have put someone's integrity in question with your comments. We started this promotion in May as part of our sponsorship of Brian Clark on the BASS Tour.

We had several 100 people present at the time of the drawing and I can assure you I personally made every effort to uphold the integrity of the drawing. I'm extremely dissapointed in your post.....

Actually the rules CLEARLY stated who would be doing the drawing and honestly initially it was gonna be the truck that Brian actually used in the Elite Series until Monte and Moritz decided to step up and just provide the exact same model but brand new instead. I know all the legalities were discussed and the rules were drawn up with help of attornies. All was above board.
Also pretty much the only one getting their panties in a wad over ti is you. We all clearly understood the rules and decided to enter based on that. I think everyone present was excited for the guy that won and proud someone from here did. This is one of those times I get the impression you will not be happy no matter what is said so I am bowing out. I wish you well and sorry you were not the winner but still happy for the chance I had to win.

You seem to be the only one getting upset. You didn't win. When was the last time someone offered you a chance to win a truck like that with ZERO strings attached? The majority of the entries were from the TFF only, and you didn't even have to buy any Girl Scout cookies to enter. I'm curious why you didn't show up to watch the drawing in person. Being from Irving, you could have been there in less than 15 minutes I bet. You might have even been able to take advantage of some great deals F&S had going.

I am a loss. I normaly dont involve myself with these threads of back and fourth, but I am really confused on why you believe this was fishy. Who cares how many posts the winner had or when he joined the forum. Everyone was invited to witness this drawing and it was not just a contest for members of this forum, it was open to anyone. I dont know why you feel it necessary to question the integrity of the winner and the people that made this drawing possible. To the guys that tried to listen on the radio I'm not sure what happened there. The Ranch was on site from 2-4pm at Fun-N-Sun and I was under the impression they announced the winner I was surprised to hear later that nothing was said. I gave them the information with the understanding it would be done. The only thing I can think that may have kept them from doing the announcement is it may have been a conflict with some of the stations sponsors. I wish they would have told me I certainly would not have told everybody to listen.
