Trapper, I am just getting used to owning a boat and am trying to figure out the catfish at Arrowhead. I made 20 jugs from white foam backer and set 4 out tuesday using shad to see if they work. Caught a couple of 6lb cats in about 1 1/2 hours just past the bridge by hippie beach and spent the rest of the time crappie fishing since that is what my friend likes. I sorta know where to set juglines but if I want to take my kids fishing for channels (punch bait) where would you recommend? Should I bait a hole? Also am getting rigged up for drifting, any suggestions?
