I didn't mean or imply that I was upset with fishing pattern or anything along those lines. It's by choice that I am not fishing. We just put in a pool last year and this is a very good year to use it! On a 100 plus degree day, I rather be sitting in the pool and drinking a beer then cooking in my Lund frying pan. Actually, this is prime time to be catching fish on our local Granger lake. It can be tough tho but from what I am hearing there are a few who limit out on each trip to this very day. <You know who you are
.> If I really wanted some crappie, I go with these fella's.... I just don't feel like fishing until it cools down a bit. Btw... keep on bidding! If you bid high enough, you will receive a very high tech fishing rig. Just ask Joe at Advantage where I bought it from. It's garage kept and has very low hours on it. Just ask some of the locals... Piece out!

You guys need to set your priorities right. Mine have always been set right therefore my fishing has never been affected! Other things like clothing, food, the wife & kids, the pets, and stuff like that will just have to suffer!

I fished Media on the 20th, tuesday afternoon tournament on 22nd, Lake Limestone Marina tournament on the 26th, and last tuesday tournament on the 29th. No Crappie but I've been spying with my binoculars on this guy fishing in the stump field in front of my house, I don't know who he is but he consistantly puts crappie in the boat.

Sabot, Your boat will never sell for several reasons, 1) your WIFE won't let you , 2) You said you were saving it for DBman , 3) the motor has not been broke in and the fluids have not been changed, 4) the gas in the boat was bought when gas was .99 a gallon and has been Stabil diluted. As for the GPS coordinates, most of those BP have been moved by the relocator or had soured corn dumped on them . Oh by the way is there a seat on the front deck, I have always seen you fishing setting in the drivers seat using your auto pilot . Lastly who wants a Lund?

Sell your boats and fish with a guide.
Guides don't make any money, they just share expenses with all the other fisherman that goes.
It turns out it's everyone's Boat, Motor, Trailer, Rods, Reels, Tackel, (And the best electronics, Oh Yea), Trolling Motor, Batteries, Gas, Oil, Tons of electric knifes and blades, Ice, Bagggies, Maintenace and Upkeep, etc, etc, etc, etc.
Plus you get to fish with a guide that knows the lakes and fishes everyday. And will put you on more fish everytime, everyday.
Lets all share expenses and just use guides. (it's really just a break even for the guides); and it saves tons of money for you.
Just a thought,

Mark how about a crappie report on rc Im going tommarrow Mr. Moore, I am so sorry to say I haven't fished Crappie in about a week or so (as you can tell from my pictures on my Web Site, Sand Bass and Hybrids), but I'm ready to. The last few times I fished Crappie they were tough for the customers (lite bits and lots and lots of small ones, with some nice ones missed in), but most of the time I need them to be bitting like snapping turtles for the customers. But real Crappie fisherman like you and me should have a blast with them. The moon is right about 2:00pm (and the sun is coming together about 1:30pm), which should be just perfect under the bridges (for you and the Crappie, in the shade), or fish your favorite Brush piles with lots and lot's of cover. You have about an hour and half around that time to ware them out (1:00pm to about 2:30pm). The following information is provided for Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas (longitude W96.5, latitude N32.1): Friday 1 August 2008 Central Daylight Time SUN Begin civil twilight 6:15 a.m. Sunrise 6:41 a.m. Sun transit 1:32 p.m. Sunset 8:23 p.m. End civil twilight 8:49 p.m. MOON Moonset 8:06 p.m. on preceding day Moonrise 6:50 a.m. Moon transit 1:52 p.m. Moonset 8:45 p.m. Moonrise 7:58 a.m. on following day Good Luck to you (normally end of July and first of August is my most productive time on the Crappie, for real),

You almost made me fall out of my chair! DougM on Friday night = DB, when your in the market... my rig is waiting for you! Comes as complete as one can get. From the wave wackers to the TM with Auto Pilot & Remote Control. All that is missing is a head. I think my motor has been broken in.... how many mech hours to break it in? I drained that .99 gas off and put it in a museum for we will never see or smell gas that cheap! (So there!) Don't question when there is corn falling out of the back of your boat! Yes... I think there is a seat up there... Once you get use to that remote control TM, it's hard to move around... I have my electronics in front of me... a rod in my hand with the remote... cigar and a beer... All that is needed is a fishy on the hook... Who wants a LUND!!!??? You do! (Your still #1 in my book, young man! (ha/ha) on that latter part... you know what I mean!)

I hear ya! If only it would have fit in my garage. It would have been a great deal! Looks like you keep it in yours. How wide are your doors? My wife actually liked it, for it had glitter! (Don't ask...) As for that DougM guy... he is an old salt... reminds me of Quint from Jaws.
