Casey, Just wanted to say thanks for all the free stuff you gave me and my wife Shawn. We showed up at the right time to see the big HAWG. By the way those plastic baits you gave us taste bad.......lol No really they do, Ive never licked a plastic bait before, yuck.... I should have read the back of the package before I did........... Hope to get out tomorrow to give someone my money.

I of course showed up right on time. Got some free stuff, and had to do very little work to get it. I did not want to slight anyone. Actually, after meeting Robert for the first time, I already see who the brains of the operation is in the Allison/Oleson team. Actually, you guys make a heck of a team. See everyone tomorrow!

Just wanted to say thanks to Casey and everyone that helped with this, it was fun!
Ray Hubbard is a tough lake, but that big one that broke me off makes me want to come back! Oh and the big cat! Ha! I'm already looking forward to next year.

If a sportsmanship award was given then my vote would be for Austin Hollowell. He went through some misfortune on Saturday and was unable to fish. He could have had a bad attitude but instead he hung around and helped us out running the tournament. I was blessed on Sunday to take him out so the weekend would not be a complete bust. He fished hard but as his guide I zigged when I should have zagged and just did not put him on the right bite to have a chance to compete. He fished hard with skill and never let the conditions bring him down. He kept his spirit up and managed our only keeper. He is a testament to good parenting and a young man who earned my respect.
Congratulations to Nathan Fields for thinking through a pattern and working it under very difficult fishing conditions. You tested your mettle and beat some very skilled anglers.
This group of college anglers represented their schools, their sponsors and themselves with professionalism that will serve them well in the future. If this group of anglers is an indication of the future of our sport then the bass had better watch out.
Without the facilities, financial backing and gift packages donated, this event could not be held. Many thanks to the sponsors that made this happen. I am impressed by your dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to support the future of our sport.

I had the pleasure to view the tournament from both sides of the fence. I got to help in the planning of the event, serve to help put the event on and finally to also compete in the event. These things do not happen without volunteers to help. Kevin and Dane on support, Austin as angler and support staff, Amanda from BPS and other volunteers helped put this on and made it run smooth. I can promise you that these things don't just happen. There were bumps in the road and obstacles to overcome.
Finally, I want to thank Casey Allison. This was his idea and he puts an immense amount of time, money and effort in to make these events happen. What may be smooth for the anglers only happens because of the planning and forethought he shows every time he commits to these events. We are very fortunate to have Casey working in our area for us fishermen. I cannot give you enough recognition for what you deserve and I know that you are humble enough not to seek it out for yourself. You are a class act my friend and I thank you for taking me along on the journey.

Tom, Have you found a back seat? If not you can ride in mine. I don't know the lake at all so I would think we both could keep our streaks alive. No Fish...........

I may take you up on that. I'm hoping to be riding with Stan Browning tomorrow night. Last week was a last minute miss at the ramp. Sending you a PM.

A special thanks to Casey, Robert, and all the guys for putting on a good tournment. Also for trying hard to find me a boat on Saturday and putting me in one on Sunday. These are some great guys of the Ray Hubbard bass club.

Thanks to everyone that made this tournament happen. I enjoyed not catching keeper fish. But it was fun none the less. Also thanks for all the freebies. I'm sure my partner enjoyed it too, since he is normally a bank fisherman. I had to get the boat airborne for him on Sunday. I'm ready to do it again.

I hope Nathan remembers all us little people after he wins his first Classic!
